How to Stop Area Soiling

Soak up urine stains while they are wet.  Remove the underlying paper or blanket.

Then apply an enzymatic odor remover, such as ProVetLogic Kennel and Turf Care. It will break down the proteins in the urine and react with the chemicals in it, diminishing the odor.

How do you neutralize urine odors

Eliminating urine odors from pets involves several steps:

1). Remove as much of the urine as possible. Just spraying a cleaning agent on it will not be enough.
This is much easier on hard surfaces.  On porous concrete or synthetic turf you will need a way to either absorb or drain the urine proteins away.  If you are trying to remove urine odors from pet turf, you need a way to get the fluids into the substrate.

2). Use a cleaning agent that will break down the uric acid proteins in the urine. ProVetLogic’s Kennel and Turf Care:

  • Controls Toxic Ammonia
  • Recommended by Leading Manufacturers of Synthetic Pet Turf
  • Veterinarian Recommended
  • Nontoxic & Environmentally Friendly
  • Pleasant Smelling
  • Easy to Use

Because it is formulated with quaternary ammonium, it will degrade the the proteins, thus releasing the odor causing agents.
